Herman "Thunderfoot" Weaver
Herman Weaver started his career as a professional football player with the Detroit Lions in 1970. He stayed with the Lions until 1976 and then transferred to the Seattle Seahawks where he finished out his football career. Herman retired from professional football in 1980. His claim to fame was the nickname "Thunderfoot" given to him by sports broadcasting legend, Howard Cosell.
